The App

​The AudiblEye mobile application is now available for use at the locations we have outfitted with bluetooth beacons. The app allows for users to search for points of interest such as restrooms, entrances, exits and virtually any point of interest within a building. The app then provides users with an audible route to their destination along with a "Look-around" feature that describes the location of of various points of interest within the users proximity. ​

Features

The user is provided a map with their approximate location within the building. The app works with bluetooth beacons that are placed within the building to triangulate the users position. In order for the application to function, the building must be equipped with AudiblEye bluetooth beacons. ​

• "Look Around" Feature, allows you to hear the points of interest in proximity of your location.
• Search points of interest and get directions directly to them. 
• Adjustable "viewing range" allows for the user to customize the distance of points of interest they are close to.
• ​Many more features that will continuously be updated based on user feedback! The app is designed to take the stress out of navigating a new and unfamiliar location and to provide an additional resource to indoor navigation by users who are blind or visually impaired.​

Beacons

AudiblEye uses state of the art Bluetooth Low-Energy beacons for all installations. Our beacons have a lifetime of up to 5-years!
